Named for an early Christian hermit, St. Issui's Church is a medieval church on an old pilgrimage site in the Black Mountains, just over the border from Monmouthshire. The church has been rebuilt twice (in the 16th century & the 20th century) but is still full of medieval remains, including its renowned 15th century wooden screen and Biblical wall paintings.
